Anthony joined Yellowhammer Advertising as Media Manager a couple of years later and worked on some of the agency's major clients including Barclays Bank, Fiat Group, Lee Jeans and Umbro International. Yellowhammer was acquired by DMB&B in 1991 and he transferred over to the newly formed DMB&B Media Centre, the UK's first Media Dependent.
Whilst at the Media Centre, Anthony continued to head-up the Barclays, Umbro and Fiat accounts, but also started to manage COI business for DVLA, DoT, DoH. Anthony also was Media Director of DMB&B Financial and was appointed to the main board in 1997.
Anthony left The Media Centre after 9 years to help start-up a media company within Banks Hoggins O'Shea and left after a couple of years when the business was sold to True North. Whilst at BHO, Anthony worked on Waitrose, Harveys, Daihatsu, Virgin Interactive, Barclays b2, Bombay Sapphire and ClaraNET.
After a year out developing the UK's first online marketing portal and media trading platform for direct advertisers, Anthony returned to the agency world to become a managing partner of WWAV Rapp Collins and its first media planning director. With board level experience across both direct and brand sides of the media agency fence, Anthony left to start Latitude, an integrated planning consultancy, working with marketing clients and creative agencies who want neutral, independent access to experienced communication planning. Latitude worked with several clients including JP Morgan Asset Management, Navman and Hilton Hotels before being acquired by Experience in January 2006.
Anthony admits that his most challenging role is being a husband and father to two "spirited" children. When not working, Anthony is one of the UK's leading armchair sports participants and has a passion for good food and wine!
